The Deception of Cessationism
By Trenton and Nichole Adams
I understand that the "Charismatic" church today is totally corrupted, and is extremely abusive. I understand that there are word of faith preachers out there that put all of the onus on the sick person, or the parents of a sick child, to be healed. They are willing to accuse, but they are unwilling to press in with those people to receive healing from on high. But, that does not give those who have been abused, or had children die, or gotten really ill themselves, to throw out the sign gifts. If we would quit following men, we would not be disappointed when men fail us. Yes, the pain from the death of a child may remain, but the sting and sourness of men lying to us, or failing us in some other way, would not be.
Another thing that is commonly done in the name of the Lord, is to state that a person who has not received the baptism of the Holy Spirit does not have the Spirit of God. But, the bible says that if we do not have the Spirit of God, we are not saved. There are yet others who say outright that you are not saved if you do not have the baptism of the Holy Spirit. Again, that must mean that the leaders of the Asusa street revival were not saved either. They had not received the baptism of the Holy Spirit, or the gift of tongues, until quite some time after others had. This also leaves everyone from the Apostle's time until now unsaved.
I hope to show anyone reading this, that does not believe in the power of God, that the sign gifts are still for today, by refuting the common scriptures used to attempt to show that they are not for today.
Taking a Break
Hi Guys,
I'm taking a break from the blog for a few days. I need to rest a bit. So, if your messages don't get through, don't be surprised. I'll read them in a week or so probably.
Thanks.
Andrew Strom – An Insider’s Warning
I thought it was important to put these videos up. Andrew Strom is interviewed regarding the false prophetic movement, after writing a book called "True and False Revival".
- Why I Left the Prophetic Movement
- My Main Concern About Lakeland (Watch the video while Andrew is talking. It is Todd Bentley and his cohorts acting like fools)
- Holy Spirit and Angels or Demons and Kundalini? (Near the end of this video, watch how a pagan man is doing the same stuff as is seen in the Lakeland "revival". If I am not mistaken, the background video is of a man imparting the Kundalini spirit to people)

I Dreamed I Went To A Carnival
I dreamed I went to a carnival billed as THE GREATEST CARNIVAL SHOW ON EARTH! As I pulled in to the lot, there were smiling greeters with flashlights who guided me expertly as I parked.
I exited my vehicle to the sound of excitement, the glare and flash of multi-colored lights and the screams of thrill seekers on the various rides. The cacophony was almost overwhelming. I followed the crowd of people who were happily murmuring about the various things they had come for: blessings, thrills, to be fed, to be entertained.
I had just paid the full admission price when someone started walking towards me from the shadows. While I could not quite recognize his face, I knew he was a friend. He said, “Why are you wasting your time and money here?”
Christian Civil War – a reply
Yesterday, I was notified of a man who had a dream about a Christian Civil War. He claims that the ones fighting against Todd Bentley, Rick Joyner, etc, are on the wrong side. He lists a few at the bottom of his page. Below is the dream he had...
Dream: I saw the Lord's church represented by a military base. Everybody had different positions and jobs. There were ground soldiers, fighter pilots, guards, captains, generals, etc. Everything looked fine and in order. But then I noticed something strange. Everyone was going about their duty when all of a sudden, a dispersed group of OUR ground soldiers (who happened to look like Storm Troupers) started marching in complete unity toward a specific area. This group was comprised of people from all different areas of the military base. They marched onto these wooden platforms that were high above the entrance of the airplane hanger. They marched in lock step, as though they were being given orders by some unseen force. The rest of us were amazed, and didn't know what to make of this strange situation. When they got to the edge of these platforms they all pulled out their guns (AK-47s). I looked in amazement and said to myself, "what are you guys doing? Who are you responding to?" When the first airplane came out from the hanger, all the soldiers shot at it. There was no chance for our pilot. Such a hail of bullets came against him that the airplane was destroyed. The pilot could not go fast enough to escape. I thought, "BETRAYAL". The rest of us who were not part of this group started running in fear. This group shot down one plane after another, it was a complete slaughter. All the pilots tried to go top speed out of this hanger, but they had no chance. We were losing all our best fighter pilots. In real terms, 1 pilot in the air was more powerful that 100 ground soldiers, but none of the pilots could ever get up.
Then one pilot took a different path. Instead of trying to escape, and save his life, he turned his plain straight at the wooden platform that the soldiers were standing on, and crashed right into it, sacrificing himself. This collapsed the structure holding the men, and killed many soldiers in the betraying army. Somehow, after this happened, it broke the unity of that army, throwing them into chaos. They where still hostile to us, but no longer had unity.
Moses’ Commandments of men – a paradaox
Recently, I have been introduced to the concept that the commandments that Moses issued were the doctrines and commandments of men that Christ spoke of (Matthew 15:2-9
). I have never heard this before. It is so foreign to me that I didn't really have a whole lot to say on the matter, as defending against an enemy (not the person, their doctrine) you know nothing about, is very difficult. So, I began to read Deuteronomy, seeing that many of the things they claimed were the doctrines and commandments of men, are in Deuteronomy.
Todd Bentley – The Deception
Here are some links to a pastor who went to Lakeland several days in a row. To say the least, the fruit there is rotten. And, what's great about what he has written, is that it's extremely objective.
Todd Bentley – Body Guards
One quick rhetorical question for the Bentley supporters. If Todd can knock people down by the power of the "Holy Spirit", why does he need body guards? Kinda odd, no? What about the "angels" protecting him? Where are they when he needs them? Maybe they just aren't paying attention?
David Wilkerson – On Weird Manifestations
Just watch it, and weep with him.

One thing I see, is that these manifestations are signs of DEMONIC possession, not the Holy Spirit. I'm not talking about a little bit of shaking, or falling down, or whatever. If we really come under the full presence of God, we will be unable to stand. But, to writhe on the floor like a snake can ONLY be ONE of two things. Either people trying to act spiritual, while acting foolish, or demonic influence.
