While I was seeking the Lord about Patricia King (in 2003), I had a dream about Todd, who I hardly knew anything about, let alone the connection to Patricia. I was confused at the time, because I was expecting revelation on Patricia, not Todd. But, the apple does not fall far from the tree. I thought my wife had told me that he was taught by Patricia King, who actually came out of the occult. But, she says she didn't say that. Hmmm. I also heard that while in the occult, she had supernatural signs and wonders as well. But I will not speak of her any further than that. And you can consider the last couple of sentences hearsay, as it could simply be rumours, although I doubt it. Anyhow, on to the actual revelation of emma.

The LAW and The Prophets

Author: Trenton

In Christendom we have been taught that the LAW has been completely abolished, and it now has no value (though we know we are not "under the LAW"). This really is a lie of the enemy, designed to create animosity any time that someone brings up the LAW, especially in regard to righteousness. Now, don't get me wrong, we aren't under the LAW in the sense of salvation. But, we are to be guided by the LAW, into righteousness.

We must understand that Paul and ALL other NT writers based their beliefs on the OT. They mostly did not teach anything that was not already written, in the OT, except a better understanding of it, and the new covenant understanding. Some new things are the gift of the Holy Spirit, and the gifts that come with that. Even an understanding of justification by faith came from the OT writings. We will show these things clearly.

The Struggles of Sin

Author: Trenton

Some would say that we can choose to depart from iniquity.  I believe that the bible clearly shows that we cannot possibly depart from iniquity.  All we can do, is to desire to be from a sin, and then trust God to set us free.  Corruption cannot put on incorruption.

David Wilkerson described a young man who had been on heroin for 4 years. He was a mainliner (continuous use, and unable to be free). He told David that it's easy to quit heroin, and get rid of the addiction that his body has. All you have to do is not use it for three days. During that time, you will be in absolute agony and pain like you've never experienced. But, if you hang on, and just do it, you will be free from the bodily addiction. Then, for another 30 days, your body will still be partially addicted, and you'll still feel some withdrawal affects. Finally, this unsaved man explains why a heroin addict can never be free. He says that there is something on your shoulder, or in your veins, that keeps telling you to do it again. Your mind cannot resist it, as it is completely impossible to do so. You may stop for a few months at a time, but you will ALWAYS go back, because you cannot resist. Once a heroin addict, ALWAYS a heroin addict.

Fiery Trials

Author: Trenton

I'm writing this blog, partly because it helps me get my thoughts together, and partly because it may help others.

I read a blog entry today on Slice Of Laodicea.com, asking for a call to pray for someone. They feel like it's a lot of work to worship God lately, and that no matter how much they try, in prayer, in reading the Word, etc, they still feel that they cannot do it in spirit and in truth, so to speak. First off, I know that happens to every true believer, because Peter spoke of it in 1 Peter 4:11-13, and it is described in many other scriptures throughout the Word.

The Hope In Me

Author: Trenton

I think it's critical to understand why we believe in Yashua, and put our hope and our trust in His work on the cross. If we have not experienced a relationship with Yashua, then how can we say that we know Him? To say that you have known Him, and yet you have never experienced Him, or spoken with Him, in some way or another, is like saying you know the woman across the street, whom you've never spoken too, and have never interacted with in any way.

1 Peter 3:15 (KJV)Open Link in New Window But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts: and be ready always to give an answer to every man that asketh you a reason of the hope that is in you with meekness and fear:

Without knowing Yashua, how can we possibly have an answer for every man, of the hope that is in us? Is that even possible?
