Jesus himself said there would be many who would do miracles in His name and even cast out demons, but He does not know them (Matthew 7:15-23 ). Jesus warned that “many false prophets will appear and deceive many people” (Matthew 24:11 ).
To the Galatians, Paul writes: “But even if we or an angel from heaven should preach a gospel other than the one we preached to you, let him be eternally condemned (Galatians 1:8 ).
Paul also warns: “Do not let anyone who delights in false humility and the worship of angels disqualify you for the prize. Such a person goes into great detail about what he has seen, and his unspiritual mind puffs him up with idle notions. He has lost connection with the Head, from whom the whole body, supported and held together by its ligaments and sinews, grows as God causes it to grow” (Colossians 2:18,19 ).
Peter warns that “there will be false teachers among you. They will secretly introduce destructive heresies. … Many will follow their shameful ways and will bring the way of truth into disrepute. In their greed these teachers will exploit you with stories they have made up.” (2 Peter 2:1-3 ).

To those who like to write long comments (especially without biblical scripture to back up there point of view)…..

website. I believe that you are the one who is doing the work of the devil. You are trying to take peoples faith away. It is hard enough to pray to God to build your faith up enough to be healed by Jesus and to have people like you trying to put doubt in their minds it seems to me that you are the one who is working for the other side. I have been watching the revival every night for over 80 Days and the people are being healed and touched by none other then JESUS CHRIST. My point of view is we would like to know how many gifts JESUS has given to you. Maybe there is a little professional jealousy going on because you would like to have some of these gifts. Real CHRISTIANS LIKE I AM WILL KNOW THE TRUTH WE DO NOT NEED ANYONE TRYING TO DICTATE WHO OR WHAT IS REAL. I personally believe in Angels and there are a lot of people that do and have seen them and I suppose you think that they are crazy. I think you are just like most SCIENTIST YOU WILL NOT BELIEVE IN ANYTHING THAT YOU DO NOT SEE YOURSELF. I know that the the Revival is the real thing. I have been healed from Sciatica right through the T.V. screen. In the Bible it says that the LORDS’ anointing is Tangible and are you going to say that it is impossible to be healed this way. I have had Sciatica since 1989 and that is a long time. I will be personally going to LAKELAND with my husband who desperately needs a healing and I know he will get it. I would like to know where are all your miracle healing gifts? I would like to know how many people you have healed through the anointing of our Lord ? I would guess none. SO WHY DON’T YOU GET A LIFE AND GET ON YOUR HANDS AND KNEES TO OUR LORD TO SEE IF HE WILL GIVE YOU ONE OF HIS PRECIOUS GIFTS. IF HE DOES NOT THEN WHY DON’T YOU JUST MIND YOUR OWN BUSINESS AND LEAVE FRESHFIRE MINISTRIES AND GOD.TV ALONE SO THAT THEY MAY DO THE WORK OF JESUS CHRIST. MAY GOD HELP YOU BECAUSE YOU REALLY NEED IT, TO BE JEALOUS IS A SIN. The Bible must be preached throughout the world before Jesus can return to this earth. I suggest that you go to LAKELAND and check out the Revival for your self before running your mouth off about things that you know nothing about. I SUGGEST THAT THE PEOPLE THAT ARE LOOKING FOR JESUS GO TO THE REVIVAL AND JUDGE FOR YOUR SELF INSTEAD OF LISTENING TO TRENTON WHO HAS NO KNOWLEDGE OF WHAT IS GOING ON IN LAKELAND. THINK FOR YOUR SELF AND DON’T LISTEN TO WHAT OTHER PEOPLE ARE TRYING TO SHOVE DOWN YOUR THROAT. YOU WILL MISS SOMETHING SO WONDERFUL THE ANOINTING OF JESUS CHRIST. I HAVE DREAMS TO AND WHO DOESN’T? I CAN’T BELIEVE THAT ALL THAT TRENTON HAS TO GO ON IS A DREAM. THIS IS A JOKE. I REALLY PITY PEOPLE THAT ARE THIS SKEPTICAL THAT THEY WILL MISS OUT ON THEIR HEALING JUST BECAUSE A DUMB DREAM THAT SOMEONE HAD THAT THEY DON’T EVEN KNOW. HOW CAN YOU BELIEVE THIS? YOU DON’T EVEN KNOW THIS MAN (TRENTON) MAY GOD BLESS YOU ALL! GO TO GET YOUR HEALING ! WHAT HAVE YOU GOT TO LOSE ?

Just because someone was healed, had demons cast out etc., doesn’t mean they are true followers of Messiah and children of the Most High. After all, who exactly are those who in that day will say Lord, Lord, have we not healed in Your Name and cast out demons in Your name? Then He will say to them depart from me, you workers of lawlesness, I NEVER knew YOU.
Obviously someone is doing these things but the Father does not recognize them.

I guess I’d better tell the people in my church who were healed and now have a healing ministry that they can only have a ministry like you say. I’ll also tell my friend that she wasn’t healed of cerebral palsy which she has had her whole life because you said so. You must be very proud.

Youre a piece of work, Trenton, I have to say that…so now youre saying that not only is Bentley a false teacher and getting his power from demons but that he is culpable in it and he knows they are demons and he knows its all false and he is perpetrating this entire thing having complete knowledge of what he is doing all to drag more people into hell along with him and Patricia King and everybody else, and their motive is just to deceive everybody else and they are doing that by lifting up the name of Jesus, healing people in the name of Jesus, singing and praising Jesus in song, telling people how to have a more intimate relationship with the Lord, training people to witness on the street and heal by the laying on of hands, feeding the poor in africa, feeding and housing the orphans in Africa, healing the deaf, the blind, the crippled, the lepers and those with aids in Africa, raising up pastors all over the world to pastor new churches, and bringing over 1 million people to the Lord in the last 10 years…..IF HE IS GETTING ALL OF HIS POWER FROM DEMONS AND HE KNOWS EXACTLY WHAT HE IS DOING THEN HE IS DOING ONE HELL OF A BAD JOB FOR THE KINGDOM OF DARKNESS !! and you expect me to believe that just because you had a dream that completely cancels out all of this and all of these works and fruit dont mean a thing…and that’s exactly what it is, Trenton! you and I have corresponded on and off the website and that is all you have, the dream…..all of your other accusations and judgments hinge off of your dream…without your dream there is nothing but because you had a dream now you know everything about Todd Bentley, Patricia King, and the whole Lakeland Outpouring and you refuse to look at the huge amount of evidence, fruit, and good works on their side …your dream colors everything you think, feel, and say….your dream has poisoned any clarity a prudent person could have in making a common sense judgment about this situation…and you are consumed with it…it is so a part of your being that you cannot go back, you cannot turn away now, you are committed, you cannot lose face at this point….I got on this website because I said to myself ” ok, I want to see what everybody is saying about Todd Bentley, I want to see what they have that is causing such a controversy”….I guess I expected some kind of intelligent exchange of misgivings and questionings of certain aspects of what was going on in Lakeland…And I expected it to be done in a civil way contrary to other non-christian forums….what did I find? more backstabbing, backbiting, hate-mongering, devisive language than I have ever seen on any non-christian website…..and it came from you and those who have sided with you and there have been many comments from others just like me who have said the same thing…and that’s why I am sure this is an exercise in futility because you have heard all of this before but most people didnt even spend the time to try to find out where you were really coming from and they made their comment and left…I probably should have done the same thing but I wanted to check it out fully and understand where you came up with all of this..I didnt want to just hit and run..so I spent a lot of time looking at all of your posts and emailing with you and I’m disappointed.. you have nothing to stand on yet you stand there with the others who stand there with you and you prop each other up by telling each other how messed up and deceived everybody else is and it all teeters on a dream….From a person whose job it was for 27 years to listen to arguments, make arguments, discern arguments, find evidence, discern evidence, and make judgments of life and death and freedom and incarceration based on the above, YOU HAVE NOTHING! I personally wouldnt worry if Todd Bentley has repented or not. You should have worries of your own that supercede him.

Yes, we are aware of his claims of why he did it. He even has that on his website. He doesn’t want confrontation, he just wants his deception to go nice and smooth. He hasn’t repented though, of receiving DEMONS as angels of light, or preaching that you can buy the anointing, or practicing it too. He has not only preached it, he’s practiced it. Or, should I say, the reverse of it, has tried to sell the anointing, just like all the false prophets before him.

again, some more “genius” investigative work on the part of the editor here….TODD BENTLEY ONLY ANNOUNCED THIS ON WORLDWIDE LIVE TV TO MILLIONS OF PEOPLE ALL OVER THE WORLD THE DAY THEY TOOK THE INFO DOWN…BIG CONSPIRACY! …His ministry decided to do it to keep the peace and try not to offend as many people as it did…But I guess there are all sorts of people out there constantly looking to get offended ….anyway, good job! another scoop for the demon behind every bush crowd! yeah!

Who is this Matthew Stephen? I am acquainted with most of the right on prophets and apostles in this country and have never heard of him. I have been to Lakeland and have found nothing of what you speak of! We do believe in sowing into the Word of God and our finances have flourished since doing this! Please be careful how you judge people as there are many of us who have been blessed by Todd Bentley and his team!
