The Whore of Babylon

Let me share something that my wife had. Which I was very astonished at, because I have never heard of such a blatantly clear revelation on this subject. When I refer to "4given" and her dream, it is posted on Revival School.

She had a dream at 8-10 years old. In the dream, she was in this beautiful city. It was very vibrant with color, and many lights. She was admiring it's beauty, as she walked into a large building. In the building it looked like a bathroom. She opened the first stall, and found a bed. She opened the second, and found the same thing. She did this over and over, finding the same thing over and over. Then suddenly she realized, "This is a whore house". Keep in mind that little girls don't think like this.

Suddenly she heard the big booming voice of God. He said, "Get out of Babylon!". Somehow she knew imminent destruction was coming upon Babylon. She began to run with everything she had in her. She ran out of the building, and made her way to the north gate. When she was just about there, she saw four soldiers coming towards her, bearing a litter, with a woman in it. A litter being one of those things that people carry with royalty in it. Anyhow, the woman was dressed in a scarlet robe. The woman looked at her and chuckled, at which point she took her wine glass, which was filled with blood, and drank it. My wife looked away because she could not stand to look upon her. When she looked back, the soldier and woman were gone, but the litter remained. She looked in the litter, and there was a golden idol in it.

Now go and read Revelation 13-14,17-18Open Link in New Window. As my wife was growing up, all of her life she was taught that the roman catholic church was the whore of Babylon, and rightly so. But she kept saying to herself, "I'm not in the roman catholic church, but I was told to get out of Babylon". She has mostly attended Pentecostal denominations. With her simple child like logic, which she had as a child, "But I'm not in the roman catholic church, but I was told to get out of Babylon", she accepted what the Lord was trying to show her.

My family has never been in Babylon, which is the protestant church, from the beginning. She is now out of Babylon. We have never attended a protestant church, or any other church, regularly for any length of time. I think the biggest length of time in our history was eight months in a Pentecostal church. But, just as 4given experienced in her dream, the people would not listen. And my father was only asking them to get closer to the Lord, he was not even telling them about Babylon.

As you read revelation, you will see that it talks about the "mother" of harlots. Why is the roman catholic church a mother? Because she spawned all of the protestant churches, which are her daughters, which are whores as well.

Now, take this all to the Word, and you will see that what I am saying is true. The church has drank the life blood of the saints. They have not wanted to enter into the kingdom of heaven, and have forbade anyone else from doing so either. They have a continuing city here on earth, but we do not. They have NO RIGHT to eat of the altar that I eat of, those who serve the TABERNACLE (church), see Hebrews 13Open Link in New Window. They think they are saved, but really they are as dead, yes, even more dead, than those who do not know God. The majority of them are walking in vanity, and serving other gods. They exalt men above God. They believe in things like "spiritual coverings", even in light of Isaiah 30Open Link in New Window.

In the OT, we read how God wanted them to come up to the mount that burned, yet they would not come for fear of death. What God wanted them to do was to desire to be close to Him over and above their fear of death. Because God Himself had even said that if anyone touched the mount, they would die. If God gave me that choice, I would rather die than not be close to Him. So, God instituted the priesthood, only later to open up the way into the holiest of holies to ALL. Later in the OT, we read how Israel desired a King, but God desired a personal relationship, and wanted to be their King, but God listened to them, and gave them a King. So it is to this day, we all want a king (pastor or leader). They have not truly left that MOTHER of harlots, and have adopted the same church structure. They have made the "leader" above the body, rather than the leaders being humbled before the body and being their SLAVES. They have the deeds of the Nicolaitanes, which thing Christ HATES. They lead people into captivity, telling them that they need to listen to them, that they need to be under their covering, but meanwhile denying them entry into everlasting life. As Yashua said, "You do not enter into the kingdom yourself, nor do you let those enter who are trying to".

Read Proverbs 5Open Link in New Window, Hebrews 13Open Link in New Window, Revelation 13,14,17,18Open Link in New Window, Ezekiel 34Open Link in New Window, etc, etc, etc. Scripture testifies over and over against the whore, yet no one can hear it, as 4given experienced in her dream. She tried to warn them of the coming destruction by fire, but no one would heed her warnings, even though the lava was right on their heels. Instead they wanted to have a good time.

Hebrews 13Open Link in New Window says that they have no right to eat of the altar that I eat of, who serve the TABERNACLE. As it also says thereabouts, we will bear His reproach. The church system will deem us backsliders, when it is they who do not know the Word, or God. They will say all manner of evil things against us to try and get us to come into the city. Much like the Catholic church did with purgatory.

  1. Revelation 18:11-19Open Link in New Window clearly states that this great city (or more likely a nation with a principal city), Babylon, is probably the greatest merchandiser of natural goods in the world. Trading with “Bablyon” effects the entire mechandising world. Neither can a belief, a denomination, a “church” be destroyed “in one hour” by fire. The description is that like a nuclear attack. The Roman Catholic Church isn’t it either at all – they’re no influence upon trade, neither could you see the destruction of the Vatican from “afar off” being a sailor in a ship at sea. This whole theory of it being the Roman Catholic Church or any church is nonsense because it doesn’t line up with the Bible. Let’s interpret the Bible (the book of Revelation included) by the Bible not a theory, a dream, or an an idea. The Bible is our compass, not a pasrtly-scriptural dream.

  2. You speak by opinion, not by revelation. The prophecies are not of any private interpretation. They must be interpreted by revelation, not by human analysis of the scriptures.

Babylon is a nation, that is *one* aspect of Babylon. That is partly why she went to the “North” gate, because Canada is not part of Babylon. But, read about the whore of Babylon, and pray about it. Ask God for the interpretation of it.

In prophecy, there is a natural direct aspect to it. Many times, prophecies are in fact meant to apply to several real world events. And, quite often, there are spiritual implications to prophecies as well, that are not readily apparent. We see this in Jeremiah’s 70 weeks, which Daniel got a new revelation on, and Joseph’s dream which is a type of Christ’s life, etc. We certainly can’t just look at a prophecy as “only natural”, unless that is what God specifically says. I believe that it’s a rare thing for a prophecy to be about one thing, and only one thing.

Another good example of a prophecy applying to more than one situation, is in the book of Acts, on the day of pentecost. If someone like Peter, were to take a prophecy from say Joel, and apply it to today in some way, he would be written off as mis-interpreting scripture. He applied a prophecy in Joel, which appears to be very directly linked to the end times and nothing else, and applied it to the day of Pentecost. No doubt many would say “Let’s interpret the Bible by the bible“, but they would be wrong. The prophecy of Joel was interpreted by the Spirit in Peter. Yes, it applies to the end times as well, but it applies to Pentecost too.
