Do Miracles Validate a Ministry?

I spoke about Yashua's amazing miracles, and how they were always instant (except once). Now I would like to speak about whether all signs and wonders validate a ministry or a minister. Yashua seems to indicate that the devil cannot fight against his own kingdom, lest it fall, and how you can't cast a demon out by Beelzebub. Let's examine this a littler further.

The types of signs and wonders, where people have ailments that are not visible, but they are "healed", are not validation of a person's ministry. When Yashua spoke about kingdoms being divided against themselves, we must put ourselves in that time. Remember, Jesus was going around doing AMAZING miracles, that were UNDENIABLE. In other words, they weren't just "cancers" that cannot be seen, they weren't just "pains" that cannot be seen. Jesus didn't say "sometimes it takes days to be healed, don't lose hope". I believe that when people say that at a conference, many times it's just an excuse for not having the anointing, but faking everything. And, I'm not sure they even realize it.

ALL of Jesus miracles were INSTANT, except for one where he prayed for a man's eyes twice, and even then, it was almost instant. The types of miracles Jesus did were instant...

  1. cleansing of Leprosy
  2. issues of blood
  3. people with arms that were shriveled up and unable to move
  4. people with the palsy
  5. people CLEARLY demon possessed, being thrown into the fire and into the water

So, when we come to where Jesus cast out the demon, and they said he was doing it by the power of the devil, let's think about the time. They had already seen these absolutely insane miracles happening. They were undeniable. Do we see these types of miracles today, in modern ministers that are doing "healing revivals"? Cancers, pains, even loss of hearing can be heightened when a person is hyped up. When you get adrenalin going, generally speaking, some of the worst pains imaginable can disappear momentarily. The list of ailments above, cannot simply "disappear". They are either there, or they are gone, and there is no in between, and it would be obvious to the audience. So, for them to say that He was doing these things by the power of the devil, would have been absurd.

Yashua warned the disciples very sternly about the coming deception of the end times. If you really love the truth, you will go and read Matthew 24Open Link in New Window right now, and take heed that you are not deceived. He speaks of how many will show GREAT signs, and wonders, that even the elect would be deceived if that were possible.

When the anti-Christ arrives, he will be calling fire from heaven, through his false prophet. Among all the signs and wonders out there, what would draw the attention of the crowds more, than calling fire from heaven?

Revelation 13:13-14 (KJV)Open Link in New Window And he doeth great wonders, so that he maketh fire come down from heaven on the earth in the sight of men, 14And deceiveth them that dwell on the earth by the means of those miracles which he had power to do in the sight of the beast; saying to them that dwell on the earth, that they should make an image to the beast, which had the wound by a sword, and did live.

There is no doubt about it, we are in the last days, and the deception is growing more and more powerful. If it wasn't for the revelations God has given me, it would be hard to not believe that many of the movements these days are of God. They seem so real, and yet they have a VERY POWERFUL seductive appeal.

Lastly, just because people "appear" to be doing signs and wonders of God, does not mean they really are. Demons are so deceptive, and they will do "lying" signs and wonders. I believe that a lying sign and wonder is one of two things. I believe it is either a true miracle, that is meant to deceive, and lure people in. Or it is false miracle, or "hyped" miracle, to deceive, and never really happened.

  1. Well done but you missed a few things… Jesus healing the blind man – where Jesus spit on the ground… the man was not instantly healed! and this was Jesus himself… hmm Then seeing as we are just regular folks I look at the healing of the 7 lepers.. who were healed ‘as they went’ in obedience.

I, all by myself, have received ‘instant’ healing from very serious stuff and then some things took some time.. others I had to finally ask someone else to pray with/for me too…why? I have no idea… other then God is God and I would most likely be a lone ranger if I didn’t ‘need’ others. I would deprive them of stepping out and being part of the blessing too.

The other statement about miracles validating it was of God.. only thing I can find in the bible anywhere that shows your maturity leave is your love level.. period. (tearing down people is definitely not loving) What is the fruit and fruit that remains in these ‘outpourings’ ??? Have you been there for an extended period to see?

Have you ever been around Todd or heard his prayers (his heart) for the things of God? Does he preach another gospel besides Jesus having died on the cross? I don’t know Todd personally to know what he is like behind the scenes – you shall know a tree by its fruit….but do know my hunger for the things of God has grown. Many others, young and old, that I do know personally due to their having partook of watching the outpouring are longing for more of Jesus. Why do I say ‘due to’ because they have gone long years without this hunger and ’suddenly’ it is here just now. Nothing else changed but to partake on the internet.

side note…People didn’t like the package Jesus came in either!

sorry at work and have a customer now.. but just hope this gives you a bit more to think on for now.

God bless as we all look to Him

  2. Yep, I’m aware of that case where the blind man did not see instantly. In fact, I wrote “ALL of Jesus miracles were INSTANT, except for one where he prayed for a man’s eyes twice, and even then, it was almost instant“. I did not say that doesn’t happen, or can’t happen. I’m just saying, so many ministers use it as an excuse for them not having “real” power.

I do not need to know Todd. All I need to know, is what God has revealed about Todd, and about the putrid doctrine that he teaches. The bible says to have nothing to do with people like Todd Bentley. That’s good enough for me. He’s a false teacher, and consorts with false prophets and teaches who receive demons as if they are angels of light. Plain and simple.

He’s also an INTENTIONAL deceiver. Because everyone complained about emma being a demon, he simply removed the name emma from his website, but left the testimony of his encounter with emma there. Why? SO THAT HE CAN DECEIVE PEOPLE. It shows that he’s not ignorant.
