False Doctrine

I'm not sure this is really ready to post, as it's not a terribly indepth article on the Nephilim, but it's a bit of a start.

For anyone that's interested, this has also already been discussed somewhat in the comments on my other blog entry, at Locusts with ArmourHollie L Moody supposedly had a revelation from God, in a vision, that the Nephilim would return. See the resources section below for more information.

This is a relatively long post, so I broke it up into sections.  They are as follows.

The Facts

I believe that there is no evidence, at all, regarding demons mating with human women. Demons are spiritual beings, and we are not.The scriptures in Genesis related to this are misinterpreted by many. The translations are unclear. So, what do we do when things are unclear? We simply go to the original hebrew words, right? Well, everyone can do that for themselves. If you lookup the words used in these scriptures, it becomes clear that these beings were very simply put, humans. Now, the word *god* can mean pretty much anything, from God Almighty, to a false deity, to a roman emperor, or any other type of earthly magistrate/ruler. See this link to H430. Although, I believe this is a topic of possible great deception, I do not necessarily believe that we will for sure see any evidence of aliens. I have only been "open" to it. Really, Christians wouldn't even need to know this in advance, in order to be protected. God will give every one of the elect, discernment, to know the truth. But, consider an interpretation of the scriptures related to this.

Genesis 6:2-4 (KJV)
2That the sons of god saw the daughters of men that they were fair; and they took them wives of all which they chose. 3And the LORD said, My spirit shall not always strive with man, for that he also is flesh: yet his days shall be an hundred and twenty years. 4There were giants in the earth in those days; and also after that, when the sons of God came in unto the daughters of men, and they bare children to them, the same became mighty men which were of old, men of renown.

So, we see that there were giants in the land. AFTER the giants had already existed, the sons of god came in unto the daughters of men, and produced offspring. So, these sons of god are also likely to have been giants in the land. What people would be rulers and magistrates during that time, except for the great and mighty giants. The giants would have been the strongest, and the most feared, as it was during David's time, when he slew goliath. Everyone feared goliath, simply because he was so large.

Some of these proponents of demons having intercourse with humans believe that the earth was destroyed with a flood because of these demons intermingling with mankind.  If you keep reading in Genesis 6, things become even more clear, about why God destroyed man kind with the flood, and it wasn't about demon bloodlines.

Genesis 6:5-8 (KJV) And God saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually. 6And it repented the LORD that he had made man on the earth, and it grieved him at his heart. 7And the LORD said, I will destroy man whom I have created from the face of the earth; both man, and beast, and the creeping thing, and the fowls of the air; for it repenteth me that I have made them. 8But Noah found grace in the eyes of the LORD.

11The earth also was corrupt before God, and the earth was filled with violence. 12And God looked upon the earth, and, behold, it was corrupt; for all flesh had corrupted his way upon the earth. 13And God said unto Noah, The end of all flesh is come before me; for the earth is filled with violence through them; and, behold, I will destroy them with the earth.

Now, the scriptures say very clearly that God destroyed the earth because of "man's" wickedness, not some demon bloodline.  The earth wsa filled with violence, and His (God's) ways were corrupted.  Doctrines cannot be formed on some choice scriptures that are not even meant for creating doctrines.

Another scripture that is used to support this whole demons mating with humans thing, is Jude 6.

Jude 6 (KJV)
And the angels which kept not their first estate, but left their own habitation, he hath reserved in everlasting chains under darkness unto the judgment of the great day.

What was their first estate? To serve, and love God, with all of their hearts. They were created to do so, and received unimaginable peace and joy in return. So, they left that estate, by taking counsel with Satan, to try and overthrow God.

Now, one might wonder, if Jude 6 is speaking of all of the angels of satan, then how are they able to do anything, if they are reserved in chains, under darkness? Well, I think this is a way of saying that they are restricted from doing whatever they want. They can only do whatever God allows them to.  This seems to line up with Job, because in Job we see how Satan had to first ask permission from God, before doing anything to him.

Lastly, I would like to examine what Yashua said about angels.  Let's read Matthew

Matthew 22:30 (KJV) For in the resurrection they neither marry, nor are given in marriage, but are as the angels of God in heaven.

Both the demons, and God's angels were made the same way.  If God's angels neither marry, or are given in marriage, then I think it stands to reason that demons do not marry, or ar given in marriage.

To add further to this, sometimes people's premise on this doctrine is based on false interpretations of Yashua's words in Matthew 24:37, which say "But as the days of Noah were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be". Now, if we read it in context, this clearly has no reference to these fallen angeles mating with humans. It's talking about the fact that people will be going on as they always have, as if nothing is going to change.

Matthew 24:37-39 (KJV) 37But as the days of Noah were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be. 38For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark, 39And knew not until the flood came, and took them all away; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.

Yes, just as in Noah's day, they were eating, and drinking, and marrying, and giving in marriage, and did not see the flood coming. Nothing about demon bloodlines, nothing about demons mating with humans. No, the likeness is EXTREMELY clear. The world will be going on as it always has, and they will cry "where is the promise" of his coming, and "peace and safety".

Now, some people argue that when they teach this, they aren't saying that aliens are real.  They believe that these demons will appear as aliens, to deceive people.  They even go as far as to say that they will deceive people into believing that someone (God) is coming to destroy the earth, and we must prepare for it, thereby rallying people against God.  In fact, some even say that God is coming back in a spaceship.

Now, my question is, aren't demons aliens to earth?  They truly are from another world; namely the spiritual realm.  So, if they can manifest themselves as flesh and blood, then they are aliens.

The Dangers

I believe that these interpretations of scriptures, that teach that aliens and/or demons mated with humans, are dangerous for the following reasons.

1. It will give the anti-Christ grounds for showing that aliens are in fact real, by using the so called biblical proof of Genesis 6:2-4.
2. He may proclaim that aliens come in both the good, and bad, variety. Those mentioned in Genesis 6 are clearly the bad variety.
3. The ones he supports, are the good ones (of course)
4. And of course He will proclaim himself to be God Almighty, and proves it by biblical proofs, of which some of these supposed Nephilim scriptures may play a part.
5. These good variety of aliens are his angels, coming to establish his kingdom on earth, as prophesied by the prophets of God.

WOW, what a deception eh? And those who think they are going to protect themselves, by knowing that Genesis 6 is in fact talking about the bad demons infecting human bloodlines (though we know it is not), may also be deceived. Because they may very well fall for the whole good/bad variety argument.

Furthermore, he may say that the mark that he expects everyone to take is really not the mark of the beast, because we all know that the mark of the beast was fulfilled during the crusades, or some other such non-sense. This mark is only for world security and peace. There's so many excuses, already in Christendom, that say that the mark was some past event, or is purely spiritual. This is an outright deception of the enemy.

Genetics

Now, some might ask, well where do we get giants then? If they weren't from this demon mating with humans thing, where did they come from? Well, mostly everyone understands the concept of selective breeding. Basically, if you want a big husky dog breed, you breed dogs that are big and husky. Generally, their offspring will then be big and husky, and even more so than their parents. They do this with dog breeds, and horse breeds. The miniature horses that we see in the earth today are not natural, they were bread that way, and are now just naturally miniature.

So, before the modern era, when travel is so simple, and quick, selective breeding was relatively normal. If one area of the world had a lot of big/tall people, then they will continue that way, until the genes just can't make them any bigger.
