Seven Years of Plenty and Seven Years of Famine
The first thing I would like to share with you is the revelation and prophecy given to me by God. I do not claim to fully understand the prophecy, but I have at least a partial understanding of it. I’m about to show you how the Lord has been revealing to me things about the end. This is part of the basis for having such a great desire to understand the end times. When Yahweh speaks, I want to listen. I’m astounded that He would speak to me so clearly at times. I wish I had this kind of clarity on a regular basis. As a result, this causes me to want to listen to Him and to study His Word on the topic.
Before we get started, I would like to make clear what is what. The words that God spoke were "Only a fifth part shall understand".
The interpretation is that only a fifth part of Christians will hold fast to the end, and be saved. There will be a 7 year period of plenty (spiritually speaking) followed by a seven year period of famine (spiritually speaking). We need to start storing up our oil against the seven years of famine, that we perish not. This was then confirmed to a fellow believer through angelic visitation. Any thing beyond this I believe to be true, but may not necessarily be revelation from God.
Like any other message of encouragement in the bible, it is clear from this message that we need to reverence God, and be sure that our oil has been stored up, and that we are indeed His.
Furthermore, one may be inclined to believe that the message is not from God, simply because it is not completely clear. However, God does not always speak clearly concerning prophetic messages. As it is written...
Numbers 12:6-8 (KJV)
And he said, Hear now my words: If there be a prophet among you, I the LORD will make myself known unto him in a vision, and will speak unto him in a dream. 7My servant Moses is not so, who is faithful in all mine house. 8With him will I speak mouth to mouth, even apparently, and not in dark speeches; and the similitude of the LORD shall he behold: wherefore then were ye not afraid to speak against my servant Moses?
Only a Fifth Part Shall Understand
I woke up the morning of May 27th 2003 hearing the words, “Only a fifth part shall understand”. At that time I had no idea what it meant. I surmised that it could mean that a fifth part of the world would be saved, or a fifth part of the Christians today would be saved. I however did not know so I set my heart to not worry about it as well as to quit using my small mind to try and figure it out. I was talking to my brother about various things when all of a sudden I started telling him about what the fifth part meant. Before I knew it, I had expounded on what it meant. What I believe to be the unction of the Holy Spirit, which leads us into all truth, witnessed that what I was saying was true. This however is not enough for me this time because this is a very serious matter if I get into false prophecy. Anyhow, this is what I said to my brother. Just as a Yahweh had a remnant (7000) dedicated to Him back in the days of Elijah, there will be a remnant saved in the last days. It was a remnant from the house of Israel, back in Elijah’s day. Just so, it will be a remnant in these last days of Yahweh’s children. So the fifth part is referring to Yahweh’s children, and not the entire world. So, only 20% of believers today will make it. I’m only talking about existing believers, not people that aren’t saved. I believe the Lord will save more people, and that many Jews will be saved as well. I was kneeling by my bed two days later when I believe the Holy Spirit pressed upon my heart to look it up in the Word of Yahweh. So I did, and I came up with the scriptures below.
Genesis 41:25
-3625And Joseph said unto Pharaoh, The dream of Pharaoh is one: God hath showed Pharaoh what he is about to do. 26The seven good kine are seven years; and the seven good ears are seven years: the dream is one. 27And the seven thin and ill favoured kine that came up after them are seven years; and the seven empty ears blasted with the east wind shall be seven years of famine. 28This is the thing which I have spoken unto Pharaoh: What God is about to do he showeth unto Pharaoh. 29Behold, there come seven years of great plenty throughout all the land of Egypt: 30And there shall arise after them seven years of famine; and all the plenty shall be forgotten in the land of Egypt; and the famine shall consume the land; 31And the plenty shall not be known in the land by reason of that famine following; for it shall be very grievous. 32And for that the dream was doubled unto Pharaoh twice; it is because the thing is established by God, and God will shortly bring it to pass. 33Now therefore let Pharaoh look out a man discreet and wise, and set him over the land of Egypt. 34Let Pharaoh do this, and let him appoint officers over the land, and take up the fifth part of the land of Egypt in the seven plenteous years. 35And let them gather all the food of those good years that come, and lay up corn under the hand of Pharaoh, and let them keep food in the cities. 36And that food shall be for store to the land against the seven years of famine, which shall be in the land of Egypt; that the land perish not through the famine.
As you probably already know, God uses many seemingly pointless scriptures as prophecies, types, shadows, etc, of future events. For instance, the passages preceding the above passage was a type of Christ's life. Christ's life mimicked Joseph's life in many ways. ie, being sold into Egypt, thereby becoming a ransom for his brethren, becoming ruler of His brethren, etc, etc. In fact, I believe the above passage is only a further fulfillment of this shadow of good things to come, if you will; namely in the fact that, Yashua has given us a commandment to store up our oil. In doing so, we are doing what Joseph did for the land of Egypt. While everyone else's oil begins to run dry, during the seven years of famine to come (which I believe is the time of waiting for the bridegroom), ours will be full, and keeping our lamps lit. The same thing happened in Egypt. All the land around Egypt was failing because there was no food to be found in the land. The Egyptians, and the Israelites, simply waited out the famine, and helped those that needed help.
What I believe the Lord began to show me further on this topic was as follows. We are about to, at the time of this writing (end of 2003), witness seven years of plenty in the world. I believe the move of the Holy Spirit is going to dramatically increase very quickly. There will then be seven years of famine in the world; or the tribulation if you will. For the first seven years God is going to take His fifth part (the elect), and build them up, or store them away against the seven years of famine, if you will. They will be working mighty signs and miracles during the tribulation. They will be encouraging other believers, and new alike, to stay true to the faith. After that, our Messiah is coming back. Part of the reason I believe this is because of a prophecy that matches up with this one (prophecy, or revelation) the Lord gave me. Smith Wigglesworth said that around the beginning of this century there would be a large revival like the world has never seen. He said that it would last until the return of the king. AND He said it would be begin around 50 years after the last revival in the 1940s-1950s. That revival, which included parts of Canada, ended around 1953-1954. It is interesting how this lined up in timing with what I believe the Lord showed me. I didn’t find out about Smith Wigglesworth’s prophecy until after I had received the one above, and my belief in what I believe the Lord gave me is not changed by whether Smith Wigglesworth is truly a prophet of God or not. I just found it interesting that his prophecy seemed to line up. Above, I reference the tribulation. This aspect of what I believe the Lord has shown me, is not necessarily given by revelation. I may have drawn some of my own conclusions about this. All I know to be truth is the seven years of plenty, and seven years of famine. Perhaps the world will continue for another 50 years after these 14 years. I do not know for sure.
However, I'm strongly inclined to believe that we are very near the end. In a dream that one of my family members had, we were living in the very last days. We had to flee into the wilderness. We were sitting around a camp fire, and we talked about what was happening. Someone said "Well, we're here. Time is almost up. So, I wonder what we're going to eat?" My dad said that God would provide. Instantly a rabbit jumped right beside him. He grabbed it, and petted it for awhile, and that was the end of the dream. Nice little tasty rabbit.
I understand that some people may be skeptical about what I’m saying here. For we know that no one will know the “hour” or the “day” when He is coming back. I have not declared a day, hour, or even year, for His return. The Word also says that He is coming as a thief in the night. But, there are also scriptures that show that He should not be as a thief in the night to us. So, all I believe I know, with very fervent belief, is that He will be back before the year 2020. I am not saying thus saith the Lord, this is just my limited, knowledge in part and prophecy in part. If at any time I have a visitation from Him telling me “THUS SAITH THE LORD”, I’ll be happy to proclaim it. As of May 29th, I still had not received full confirmation that I may believe fully. As of the week of December 29th, 2003, I now believe that what I believed I received from the Lord is truth; namely the seven years of plenty and seven years of famine. The Lord has, just recently, confirmed it through a friend of mine. He told her that the time that I spoke of was about to start. She claims that she received an angel, who told her this. She tested the angel, to see if it was of God or not. So, this fourteen year period started around the beginning of 2004. No one knows the hour or the day that it began.
Many people would think that would be hard to get the mark of the beast in so quickly, if the seven years of famine is the tribulation. I had comments like that just a couple of years ago. But, it's moving so fast that it's mind blowing.
I believe very strongly that a pre-tribulation view of end times is going to deceive people into denying that the mark of the beast is here. And I've heard new age style doctrines on Revelation, from Christians, that deny that the mark of the beast is a real physical mark. Revelation, they claim, is just an example of every believer's life on earth. The mark is just a spiritual one. If that be true, why mention that it can go on the right hand?
National ID
Most everyone has probably heard of the US national ID by now. This has been coming for awhile now, and apparently it's coming quickly. Many have surmised that perhaps it's the beginning to pave the way for the mark of the beast. It certainly seems that way. All the technology is available today, and what better way to push it onto the people than to make it required, but not just yet in the form of an implant?
But, the implant technology is coming up real quick as well, and could be the norm very soon. World Net Daily wrote about it in their "Human ID implant to be unveiled soon" article in August 2000.
